OUR STORY
Asqtisinal Bakes was born out of a deep love for food and a whole lot of dough.
The name Asqtisinal is a playful twist on founder Asqalani’s own name, reflecting both his personal touch and the artisan spirit behind every bake. A lifelong food lover with a soft spot for all things homemade, Asqalani first experimented with focaccia in 2022, a simple recipe that quickly turned into a full-blown obsession.
In 2023, he brought a few loaves to a casual work fundraising, not thinking much of it. But the reactions were instant and overwhelmingly positive. That spark of joy from sharing his bakes lit a bigger fire: to bring his focaccias to more tables, more people, and more neighbourhoods.
By September 2024, Asqalani and his wife, Wardah officially launched Asqtisinal Bakes, a home based business offering chunky, flavour-packed focaccias with personality. The journey since then has been surreal, humbling, and above all, fulfilling. From connecting with customers and neighbours, to hearing heartfelt feedback (like “this tastes like happiness”), it’s been a beautiful ride filled with carbs, community, and creativity.
What started as a hobby is now a little corner of joy we get to share, loaf by loaf

HOW TO ORDER OR BOOK
Order through DMs!
We usually release monthly bakesale dates at the end of the month (e.g. At the end of May, we will release June’s bakesale dates) and usually our customers can DM us the bakesale date they are interested in and what they want to order. We will reply them with a form and invoice them from there.
